Planning out the perfect stocking stuffers for kids
As expected, the legend of stuffing Christmas stockings differs from one country to another. In Holland and in Italy, children would place their clogs or shoes outside by the door and find it filled the next day. Children in France leave them indoors and get their treats in the morning. Here in America, the tradition was a mixture of the different legends that had been passed down and influenced from the immigrants that came. Soon enough, the hanging of socks near the chimney was something that little children started practicing. The poem from Clement Moore, “The Night Before Christmas,” helped solidify this tradition as well.
Thus, today we all hang socks in hopes of getting some treats when we check it Christmas morning. Moreover, kids today hardly use any wearable sock, most of the time, kids prefer the specialty Christmas stockings, giving them more room for plenty of stuffed treats. Children are particularly fond of this tradition and any parent would be happily and carefully thinking of what stocking stuffers for kids would be ideal.
